The Subsurface User deposit is a conditional deposit accepted from corporations resident and non-resident in the Republic of Kazakhstan that are contributing money to the Deposit in order to create an abandonment fund, which is formed by a subsurface user for remedial measures as a consequence of subsurface use operations in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Minimum deposit amount:  unlimited.

Additional deposits:  additional deposits are made according to the procedure for deductions to the abandonment fund stipulated by the contract.

Partial cash withdrawal: not provided.

Extension of the deposit: not permitted.

Deposit term: specified in accordance with the terms of the subsurface use contract.

Premature withdrawal: made on the basis of written permission of the competent subsurface use agency agreed with the authorized government agency for subsurface conservation and use.
