Dear customers,

For your information, new customer bank account numbers (IBAN) and new bank identifier codes (BIC) based on ISO 13616: IBAN and ISO 9362: BIC international standards, respectively, will be used in the Republic of Kazakhstan starting on June 7, 2010.

Uniform standards for banking details are necessary for efficient payments and money transfers. IBAN and BIC will be used in the Republic of Kazakhstan for making payments both within Kazakhstan and for international payments.

IBAN and BIC codes will be implemented in Kazakhstan immediately starting on June 7, 2010, without a transition period. As of this date, you will need to specify only the new banking details complying with international standards when making payments and money transfers.

As a result, starting in January 2010, customers of Delta Bank JSC must apply to Delta Bank branches where they have opened accounts in order to obtain an account in IBAN format. If you have accounts in several banks, you will need to obtain an IBAN number corresponding to the specific account at the bank where this account was opened. At the same time, you will need to obtain the BIC code from Delta Bank JSC. Please inform your business partners in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad and other interested parties promptly of your new banking details and their effective dates, and obtain the new IBAN account numbers and BIC codes for the banks of your partners in Kazakhstan.

See the attached file for more detailed information.
